I was born in Galesburg, Illinois, in 1971. After graduating from Sherrard High
School in 1989, I attended Bradley University and earned a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working several years as an engineer, I
attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation in
2006, I opened my current office in Rock Island, Illinois.
In addition to my private practice, I am currently a contract public defender in Rock
Island County Illinois. I limit my practice to the area of criminal law. First and
foremost, I believe everyone charged with a criminal offense is entitled to not only the
best defense possible, but also that my clients deserve to be treated with compassion
and respect. My case experience ranges from simple traffic tickets to first degree
murder, and I have successfully defended many of these cases. See recent cases.
